bulan suci_Mu telah melambaikan tangan
menanti kami para pejalan lusuh
untuk membersihkan debu_debu hitam
yang melekat erat di wajah kami
setelah genap setahun melalui padang tandus dunia.
Rabb,
luluhkanlah meteor_meteor kusam di hati kami
sujudkanlah kening kami di ujung malam_Mu
bekukanlah mulut dan tangan kotor kami
ikatlah kaki kami di mesjid_Mu.
Rabb,
kami bahagia masih dapat menikmati shaum_Mu.
